Holiday home with sauna

Story
The story of the sauna began 100 years ago in the ancestral home "Kadiķi" of the old Latvian storytellers Žanis Ābele and Līna Kuģe. At that time, Līna was close friends with the daughter of the owner of the neighboring homestead "Puķītes." As in many farmsteads, "Puķītes" had a log-built barn. Today, the barn has been given a second life: it has been moved to "Kadiķi," and through the hands-on work of its new owners, it has been transformed into a small sauna where the interior blends traditional elements with modern design.

About holiday home
Next to a pond and an ancient oak forest stands our sauna house — a sauna with a story, where every detail carries its own meaning. This cozy, traditional log-built holiday home is perfect for families and friends. It is equipped with a sauna, a terrace, a lounge area, a kitchenette, a shower, a toilet, and sleeping accommodation for up to 8 guests on the second floor, which also has a separate toilet. A hot tub is also available.
Relax and recharge while enjoying the charm of the countryside: take a walk along the ancient oak forest trail, warm up in the sauna, and cool off in the pond. Wake up early to watch herds of deer and roe deer from the terrace, or enjoy slow mornings with a cup of tea.
We are located along the TET enduro motorcycle route. Motorcyclists and travelers are warmly welcome.
Everyone is warmly invited!
